Denas Frank Brooks

Denas Brooks passed away in Pembroke Pines, FL. He was the son of Florence Brooks and Garret Brooks. Denas was born on July 25, 1951 in Maspeth, NY. He was a loving Father, Husband, Brother and Grandfather. He is survived by: Robert Brooks (Son) Esther Santos (Spouse) Gary Brooks (Brother) Jeffery Brooks (Nephew) Johnathon Santos (Grandson) Mariela Rodriguez (Granddaughter) Mariana Rodriguez (Granddaughter) Madison Tobar (Granddaughter) Eddy Tobar (Grandson) And all those who know him. Denas was a terminal operator in Port Everglades, FL where he was loved and respected by his coworkers who considered him a friend. Outside of work and other activities, Denas enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved all Holidays, Christmas was his favorite. What he loved apart from all the lights an decorations was the laughter, smiles and happiness that it would bring to all the neighbors and children who would come yearly to see what he did to outdo the last year . His love for trains started during his childhood,and extended throughout his life as a hobby that he shared with his brother Gary, which then they both shared with there sons and grandchildren. He loved animals. He especially enjoyed loving, caring and breeding his birds. His love for Disney was evident , specially to anyone who visited his home. His time at Disney was not always in the parks, he loved exploring all the resorts, eating at all the restaurants, and also the quite time taking naps, relaxing, waking up early in the am for his coffee and morning speed walks . He loved to finds new places to try new foods, he especially loved spicy foods , however did not discriminate on anything tasty. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his strength and his loving ways. How he loved to tease those he loved most. We love an miss you dearly.
