Donald (Donny) Jack Marr, 72 of Cooper City Florida, died Friday, January 24, 2020, with loved ones at his side. Don was born in Tecumseh Village, Michigan on May 31, 1947, to the late Warren H. Marr and Katherine B. Swaney. He graduated from Sierra Vista High School in Baldwin Park, CA Class of 1965. Don had been a member of the Teamsters for thirty-seven years.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Donna B. Marr, daughter Sheryl Lynn Cannon and her husband Scott Cannon, grandchildren Dominique, Jackson and Zachary Cannon of Boynton Beach Florida, brothers Tommy Marr and Warren (Skip) Marr of Texas. He is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at Fred Hunters Funeral Home 2401 S. University Drive, Davie, Florida. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow immediately after services.
Donny was a generous man who was loved by many and we will miss him.
