It is with remorse that we herald the passing of Donald E. Marshall, Sr. from this life on Saturday, June 18, 2011. He was 76. The architect of an aviation success story in South Florida for several decades, Marshall along with long-time partner Dean Stickler adeptly launched a combination of aerospace support concerns that have become industry standards by way of Certified Aircraft, Q.C. Labs, Q.C. Metallurgical, and Air Marshall, Inc. An insightful businessman, Marshall consistently mentored a select cadre of lieutenants throughout, displaying the finest example of honesty, fair-mindedness, and integrity the beleaguered industry has known. He is survived by a son Donald, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL, president of Air Marshall, Inc., a daughter, Laura Marshall of Clermont, FL and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One brother and five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death, by four sisters and three brothers. Services are set for Wednesday, June 22nd from 3:00p.m. 7:00 p.m. at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 2401 S. University Drive, Davie, FL 33324.
