Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of John Katchur and Mary Hertz. She moved down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her husband and worked in the restaurant industry and later as a shipping coordinator for Kaebel Wholesale.
She was a devout Catholic and belonged to St. Clements Church in Wilton Manors before moving to Hollywood, Florida. She will be remembered for her love and compassion for her family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and pets. She always had a kind word and wisdom to share with everyone.
She is survived by her three children, Julie Martinez, Jennifer Dougherty and Joshua Buckley, along with her grand-children Emma and Erynn.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 4pm at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.
