April 15, 1933 ~ November 11, 2019
Dr. Baker earned his PhD in Biology at NYU. He taught Biology and Chemistry for 50 years. He taught Biology at the State University of New York at New Paltz for 42 of those years.
He also served in Army Intelligence for 3 years.
He is survived by his wife Dr. Linda Delgado, his siblings; Dr. Bruce Baker, Elaine Fischer and Renee Hayden, his children; Ann Baker Pepe, Stuart Baker and Paul Baker, his step-children; Neal Chris and Danielle Mercier, his 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many, many numerous former students.
He loved fishing and deer hunting. He had a full and happy life.
