Earlene Ann Lingerfelt Erra

Earlene was born Olney, Maryland to Dwight Earle Lingerfelt and Doris Ann Swann Lingerfelt on April 29, 1955.  She went to school at Norland High School in Miami Gardens.  She attended Florida State University in Tallahassee Florida where she received an Associates of Arts degree. She was involved in Color Guard and 4H in high school and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha at FSU. She married Barry Erra on May 16, 1981 in North Miami.  She worked as an Office Manager for a family-owned roofing business for over 40 years.  Later in life, she worked as a Sales Associate at her favorite store, Hallmark.  

Earlene is preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Doris; her brother, Earle Jr; and her beloved cousins, Valerie Kitchens and JR Lingerfelt.  

Earlene is survived by her husband, Barry Erra; her daughters, Amanda and Elizabeth Erra; her son-in-law, Thomas Padro; her granddaughter Emilia Padro; and her three cats, Jackson, Tiger 1 and Tiger 2.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.

The Erra family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to (Moffitt Cancer Center at Memorial Hospital West, Jeanette at Guardian Nurses, Dr. Nagy and RN Claudia at Vitas Hospice, home health aide Rosio at Catholic Hospice, and Reverend Scott Henze and most importantly, our friends and family who supported us over the last two and a half years.
