Eleanor Magnuson

Mrs. Magnuson was born in Chicago, IL on August 23, 1938 to her parents Norbert & Sybil (Davis) Meinheit. She graduated Augustana School of Nursing in 1959 and worked as a RN until retirement. She lived and worked in Streator, IL. until 1977, then relocated to South Florida and in 2005 her and her husband built a home in Ocala, FL where they both lived the remainder of their lives.

Mrs. Magnuson was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church where she attended church and Sunday School regularly. She was an avid reader, an awesome cookie baker, and enjoyed playing cards and board games with friends and family.

Mrs Magnuson is survived by her children: Carol Hetesi and Janet Petrillo of Ocala, Tracy Hauger of West Palm Beach and Darrell Robertson of Ocala and her husband's children: Sheryl Nielsen of Ft. Lauderdale, Sharron McCutcheon of Lakeland, FL. Roy Magnuson and Randy Magnuson of Ft Pierce, FL. and Richard Magnuson of Colorado also her sister: Sharon LeBeau of Ottawa, IL. Twenty two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Magnuson was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Roy G. Magnuson.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Saturday July 27th at 1pm.
