Elizabeth Chu is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Clive; her daughter, Sharon (Jim Carlson); sons Brian (Tina) and Andrew; her grandchildren, Tyler, Conner, Nick and Jessica; her sisters and brothers living in Scotland and many dear friends.
Elizabeth was born in Scotland and came to America when she was just 17 years old. She met her husband in St Louis, MO. Together they have lived from California to Florida to Cape Cod. Through their marriage, they have traveled the world.
She always loved dancing and singing. She would have a mischievous gleam in her eyes when she retold the story of how when she was a teenager in Scotland, she snuck out of her parents house to go to a dance contest which she and her partner ended up winning making the front page of the paper. During her many years in Florida, Elizabeth played a mean game of tennis. She loved her dogs, Ping and Pong.
She was a big hearted person who will be greatly missed.
There will be a luncheon at Bahia Mar Hotel 801 Seabreeze Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316 on Saturday July 17, 2010 at Noon.
