Elizabeth Short, 52, of Davie, passed away on May 24, 2015. Elizabeth has been a resident of South Florida for the past 32 years, coming from Costa Rica. She is survived by her husband, Keith Short, her son, Tyler Short, her brother and sisters; Gilberto Sanchez Herrera, Celina Sanchez Herrera, Roxana Sanchez Herrera, Olga Sanchez Herrera, and Maria Sanchez Herrera.
Elizabeth was a warm caring person who always had others in mind and loved helping people. Her warm personality and beautiful smile would light up any room she was in and lifted peoples spirits. She loved animals and took in several stray dogs during her life to give them good homes. She was the light of our life but the light has only dimmed a little as the light that remains will carry our lives forward.
