Elsa was born in Cuba to Antonio (Pillo) and Francisca (Nena) Romay on August 9, 1931. She married Angel Benitez. She worked as a server for Glades Central High School for ten years.
Elsa is preceded in death by her husband Angel Benitez and her son Angel Jesus Benitez.
Elsa is survived by her daughters Cindy Benitez and Barbara Roglieri. Her grandchildren, Lissette, Christina, Michelle, Lauren and Nicholas. Her great-grandchildren Jamie, Jillian, Nina, Michelle, Jonathan, Hailey, Dayna, Lily, Ava and Teddy.
Viewing will be Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Fred Hunter's 6301 Taft St. Hollywood, Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Fred Hunter's with Father Pedro officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North Cemetery located at 3001 N 72nd Street. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter"s Funeral Services.
