Emily was born Isabella, Puerto Rico to Julia and Juan on November 28th 1939. She went to school at New York. She married James Sr. Ayala in New York. She worked as a teacher. She was involved in volunteering at Memorial Hospital, teacher assistant at the YMCA, crossing guard, was an active member of her church, The Bridge.
Emily is preceded in death by James Ayala Sr.
Emily is survived by her son, James Matthew Ayala, and her granddaughter- Christine Emily Ayala
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 5 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home on Taft Street.
