Fabio Román Angelo

Our beloved and cherished Fabio Román Angelo, artist extraordinaire, lost his life on February 28, 2023, in a tragic swimming accident in Mambo Beach, Curaçao. Fabio was born in Rosario, Provincia de Santa Fé, Argentina to his loving parents Nora Fierro and José Angelo on November 23, 1983. Fabio is survived by Javier, his love of thirteen years and husband of eight years, as well as family and friends in his native Argentina, in Puerto Rico and in the United States, his adopted home. We will remember Fabio for his smile and laughter—for his artistic talents, for his kind, beautiful and generous heart and soul. He was truly an angel among mortals. Fabio generously contributed his talent to several Broadway Bares performances to raise funds for dancers living with AIDS and other afflictions. Fabio, a proud member of Actor’s Equity, also performed in film (In the Heights) and on stage in Evita (NY City Center), West Side Story (The Guthrie Theater), On Your Feet (WBT) and All Shook Up (Westchester Theater) among many other shows. Over the years, Fabio most loved performing aboard cruise ships which he did for Holland America and Royal Caribbean. And, before coming to the United States, Fabio performed and choreographed for Argentinian icons Moria Casan and Carmen Barbieri among many other Argentinian artists.

Fabio’s international career as a Dancer, Actor, Singer, Choreographer and Aerialist led him to travel the globe to over 96+ countries touching and inspiring so many, not only with his incredible artistry but even more so with his generous and loving spirit. The source of his creativity and talent was always his magnificent soul. A legacy that will live on forever.

Nuestro amado y apreciado Fabio Román Angelo, artista extraordinario, perdió la vida el 28 de febrero de 2023 en un trágico accidente de natación en Mambo Beach, Curaçao. Fabio nació en Rosario, Provincia de Santa Fé, Argentina de sus amados padres Nora Fierro y José Angelo el 23 de noviembre de 1983. A Fabio le sobrevive Javier, su amor de trece años y esposo de ocho años, así como familiares y amigos. en su Argentina natal, en Puerto Rico y en Estados Unidos, su patria adoptiva.Recordaremos a Fabio por su sonrisa y su risa, por su talento artístico, por su corazón y alma bondadosos, hermosos y generosos. Era verdaderamente un ángel entre los mortales. Fabio contribuyó generosamente con su talento a varias actuaciones de Broadway Bares para recaudar fondos para los bailarines que viven con SIDA y otras aflicciones. Fabio, un orgulloso miembro de Actor's Equity, también actuó en películas (In the Heights) y en el escenario en Evita (NY City Center), West Side Story (The Guthrie Theatre), On Your Feet (WBT) y All Shook Up (Westchester Teatro) entre muchos otros espectáculos.
