Frances was a graduate of South Broward High School and married Carl E. Harless, Sr. on Feb. 20, 1943. She retired from AT&T.
Frances is survived by her son, Carl E. Harless, Jr.; daughter, Beverly Mumford (Paul); grandchildren, Kelly Smith (Scott) and Hank Nelson (Cassie); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Timothy Smith, Chase Nelson, Ryder Nelson, Hunter Rutherford and Paige Rutherford; sister, Barbara Steiner; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl on Aug. 12, 1986, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, 6301 Taft St., Hollywood. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
