DR. REV. FRANCIS KWEKU GOODE

Dr. Goode was born on November 24,1954 to Mr. Frank K. Goode and Mrs. Juliana M. Goode. He grew up in Ghana, West Africa.

Dr. Goode’s academic accomplishments include a Diploma in Music Education from Cape Coast University (1979), a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theology from Oakwood University (1984), a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Trinity International University’s Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (1999), a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) from Faith Theological Seminary 2003, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from Walden University 2017.

He married The Honorable Mrs. Bernadette Marcia Goode on August 5, 1984, in Huntsville, Alabama. He worked as a Minister at his church Advent Christian Community Church for over 30 years.

Dr. Goode is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Frank Kwamena Goode and Mrs. Juliana Mensah Goode.

Dr. Goode is survived by his wife Mrs. Bernadette Goode, and his three sons Richard K. Goode, Timothy K. Goode, and Matthew K. Goode, 3rd: his siblings Mrs. Gertrude Owusu Appiah, Mrs. Christina Akua Goode, Mrs. Dorothy Aba Goode, Mr. Benjamin Ato Goode, Mrs. Dinah Ama Smart, Mrs. Margaret Owusu, and Adwoa Fosuhemaa Goode.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Advent Christian Community Church. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s funeral home.
