
Felice, Frank J., 81, of Tamarac, FL formerly of Mamaroneck, NY passed away on September 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his beloved bride Jeanne who he married Oct. 1, 1961 at the First Presbyterian Church on 5th Avenue in New York City. Having enjoyed and celebrated 46 years of heavenly bliss, Frank now joins his dear recently departed wife. Missing her dearly in the 4 months since she departed, Frank and Jeanne are now reunited in Heaven for eternity. Frank is survived by his loving daughter and best friend Bonnie Magid of Davie, FL; son-in-law Eric Magid of Davie, FL; his two dearly loved grandchildren Gregory Evangelist of Boston, MA and Stephen Evangelist of Davie, FL; sister Terry Moffett of Wyckoff, NJ and her children Cynthia, David, Edward, and William; and his nephew Walter Felice of West Harwich, MA; niece Nancy Porretto of Mount Kisko, NY; niece Georganne Deckert of Laurel, MD; and nephews Dr. Richard Brezing of Parkland, FL, and Mr. Robert Brezing of Dublin, OH. He also leaves behind several great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-nephews and one great-great-niece and joins great-great-nephew Carter in Heaven. Frank worked with the Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department for 28 years and worked his way up to Lieutenant Oct. 7, 1971. Prior to becoming a paid firefighter, Frank served 7 years as a volunteer at the same firehouse. Frank was also an electrician, a trade he enjoyed until the very end. He graduated from Mamaroneck High School in January of 1945, mid-year in order to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Army during WW II. A very patriotic man, Frank was a proud member of the American Legion, Post 347, in Larchmont, NY. An avid fan of the NY Jets and NY Yankees, Frank never missed a game. He enjoyed watching and going to games with his son-in-law Eric and nephew Richard. One of his wishes was finally fulfilled this year, to see the Yankees play one last time in Yankee Stadium. He attended a game this past summer with his grandson Gregory. Frank was a soft, kind, caring man who was well liked and was always there with a kind word for those in need. Frank J. Felice will be loved and missed dearly by his family and friends.
