Fredric Louis Feinstein, 85, of Aventura, Florida, passed away on July 4, 2025. Known lovingly as Fred,or "Freddie" to his grandchildren, he was born on December 2, 1939, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Alice and Samuel Feinstein.
Fred excelled academically at his cherished Boston Latin Academy before moving to Florida to attend the University of Florida, where he completed both his undergraduate and law degrees. During his time there, he held numerous leadership roles in student court, laying the foundation for a long and successful legal career. He went on to run a thriving law practice in Fort Lauderdale for over two decades.
After an early retirement, Fred embraced life with great enthusiasm. He cherished spending time with his beloved family and devoted many hours to trying to perfect his golf game, though, by his own admission, he never quite did. He was known for his wit, warmth, and a well-timed practical joke.
Fred will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, always ready with sage advice, a kind word, or a good laugh. At the time of his passing, he was at peace, surrounded by those who loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; their children, Glen and Marci (with her spouse Dan); their grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Chloe, Ben, Ethan, Owen, and Rhye; and his great-grandson, Wesley. Welcoming him in spirit are his parents, Alice and Samuel.
