Beasley, George Arthur, 96, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away quietly on Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was a Naval Veteran of WWII then becoming an Optical Engineer and an active member of Christ Lutheran Church. George was a very gentle and kind man whose greatest joy was in helping others. He is survived by his son, George Beasley Jr., his wife Judy; two grandsons Cameron and Morgan Beasley, Cameron's wife Rita and their sons Conner and Aidan all of Atlanta, Georgia;
also his son-in-law John Goodloe of New Smyrna Beach, FL. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Melvin Beasley and his daughter Elaine Margaret Goodloe. The family will receive friends at Fred Hunter Funeral Home 718 S. Federal Hwy, Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 9:30 am in the Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
