George, I know you are so happy to be with your Sara now. You both are probably dancing every day alongside my Mom and Dad. My Dad loved you and loved working with you for Mr. Tole. I'll always remember going over you and Sara's to eat, swim in the pool, go to the beach and just enjoy each other's families. 
Later in life when we reconnected through your son George in Gatlinburg  I can still see you so focused on your next Parchessi move. You were almost always green and blocked the rest of us every chance you got! I  have fond memories of our visits and so glad  Debbie and I got to hug you shortly before you were called home.
Another fond memory is going on that cruise with you. George,  Jeff, Darlene and Jim. Our dining experience each night met new levels with the exciting servers and exceptional food (which we could order as much as we wanted). You looked so dashing in your hat. George, you are missed and heaven now has a devoted and handsome gentleman.  This is not goodbye but bye for now as we will see each other and our families in Heaven one day. Love you George.

Daddy George, from the first time I met you, I knew you had a special purpose in my life. You reminded me so much of my grandfather. You were my favorite ladies' man, and favorite man to crack jokes with. I'm thankful to have met you and been able to make such an impact on your life. I hope Heaven treats your right and I hope you eat ALL the cake for me :)

Of all the men who had the opportunity to be my father, you were the only one who was truly up to the task. George was the father I never had. I’ll never forget that he called me his son. I loved him as my own father, biological or not. 

It was so admirable to see you take care of Sara (mom) to the best of your ability. I learned that from you. 

I find comfort knowing you passed into the next life happy & content with the life you lived in this one. I will never forget the lessons you taught me, as a father would teach a son. 

The things we did together will always warm my heart.   Planting our orange tree in Tallahassee & nurturing it into a fruiting tree. First baseball game, sitting behind home plate at the Ray’s game.  Tailgating before the Buccaneers game. First WWE match, where I caught your HHH glow sticks. The last WWE we went to & had ringside seats!  Surviving a wildfire & rebuilding a home together. Getting the trucker to blow his horn on the day we moved from Gatlinburg. What adventures!  What great memories!

I still think about you every day, but I now know you are an angel in heaven. You aren’t ailing with anything anymore.  I’m will miss you for the rest of my life here on Earth, but I am comforted knowing you and mom will be there to meet me when God calls my name.

A PRAYER FOR MY DAD

Dear God, I’m grateful! Thank You, with blessings, FOR GIVING ME MY DAD. You must really love me, because YOU GAVE ME THE BEST YOU HAD.
Watch over him and Bless Him Lord AND KEEP HIM IN YOUR CARE and, may he feel my Love for Him Is my humble, HEARTFELT PRAYER.

Dad, we little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. 
In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our family guide;
And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side.

So this morning again I said another prayer for you, Daddy
and know knowing God must have heard, Although He spoke no word. 
I asked Him to send treasures, Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He’d be near you, At the start of each new day,
To grant you, health and blessings along with Family & Friends to share your way. 
I asked for happiness for you, and the Family In all things great and small
But it Was for His Loving Care, I prayed the most of all.

Now That I’m Older too…. From the time that I was small,
I looked up to you, most of all.

And now that I’ve grown up, I know, You’re the hero, I never outgrew.
From sitting Me a top of your shoulders, To see above the crowds,
To swinging from strong arms, And to hanging upside down.
To running alongside my bike, To teaching strength when I would fall.
To insisting I continue to always work hard in school, To loving me through it all.
I want to say Daddy, I love you, For all the years together, I have had.
In my heart you are my hero, And in all my life you’ll always be my Dad.

Dad,
What privilege to have been your nurse, caregiver and friend. In the months I took care of you. We had many  many good times. Went for walks and we talked and enjoyed hours together. You told me many interesting stories about your life and how you became the man I grew to care very much for. You had a real since of humor. You were stubborn at times and very independent or as much as you could be. Your love for family showed.  I am so glad you are reunited with your Sara. Thank you George and Jeff for allowing be to come into your home snd take care of your father. I miss him and our time together but know he is truely happy now. I will never forget him.

I just want to thank God again that you and I had time together. We spent many wonderful hours being together and just talking. I miss you and we know that we loved. I am sure that Sara is happy now to have you back. Give her my love. Thanks for all of your and your family’s love.

It was a honor to have a met such an amazing man. His smile was contagious and he loved to eat!  My mother cherished every moment she had with him. Prayers for his family in this difficult time. I hope your family can begin to heal and find peace. ❤️

May God wrap His arms around you during this time and give you peace.

Papaw, what can I say other than when any loved one is taken it always feels too soon. You were the best Papaw anyone could ever ask for. Your love was unconditional. Thank you for all the amazing memories you have given me and for accepting me in your life. I will miss your laugh and smile so much but it makes my heart happy knowing you are with Mamie (your little cabbage head). Love you, give Mamie a kiss from all us.
