

Georgia Jane Bauman of Ft. Lauderdale, 87 years old, passed away peacefully on July 30th, 2024.
Georgia was born June 22nd, 1937, in Wilkinsburg, PA to Robert C Clutter and Beatrice Clutter. She graduated from Wilkinsburg High School in 1953.
Relocating to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1973. She worked for Univis eyewear as a line supervisor then joined Hollywood Memorial Hospital District in 1984 as part of the Environmental Services Department. Georgia went on to receive her Early Childhood Development Degree from St. Thomas University and transitioned her career to the child day care center at Hollywood Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1999 and spent her remaining working years after retirement enjoying working with Ms. Helen and the kids at Children’s World South in Ft Lauderdale.
Georgia had a love for cooking, baking and her children. Her smile was contagious and she always had a smile and a home cooked meal for others to enjoy. She had a gentle spirit and a nurturing heart and will forever be remembered.
She is survived by her daughter Michelle Gardner and sons Keith Bauman and Drew Bauman and his wife Marni, loving grandchildren, Clifton (Cliff) Gardner, Rachael Gardner, Savannah Bauman and her 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert (Bobby) Clutter and son in law Jerry Gardner.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her friends, family, and all who were fortunate to know her.
