Gladys Keen

Gladys Keen, 94, of Davie, FL passed away on March 19, 2018. Born in Waterville, ME to the late Wallace and Leora Roux. Survived by her children, Carol Sharp and Richard (Pamela) Keen; grandchildren, Sean, Kristina, Bonnie, Laura, and Jessica; and great grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Brady, Alex, Cody, Ryan, Jacob, Presley and Jason. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Juliet and Bobby. Gladys was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rex, in 1997.

Gladys was a vivacious woman that loved to travel. Her interest began as a military wife, being relocated to several locations around the world and continued well into retirement where she enjoyed cruises to exotic locales. Gladys would always tell tremendous stories of her travels to anyone who would listen. She will always be remembered fondly as a very generous lady, and especially doting grandmother and great grandmother.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, Taft Street, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's with burial to follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens-West. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warrior Project.
