Gloria was born in Puerto Rico to parents Jeronimo Colon and Rafaela Rodriguez on May 25th, 1949.
She married Daniel Brian Kaplan in Hollywood FL. She graduated from Kaiser University with a degree in computers.
Gloria is preceded in death by her father Jeronimo Colon, her brother Jeronimo Colon Jr; her sister Naomi Pensky and her grandson Victor Antonio Figueroa III.
Gloria is survived by her daughters Jessica Farrell, Amy Morell, Cynthia Ortiz Quintero, Denise Guerra and son Geoffrey Kaplan. Her sisters Gladys Colon and Eva Colon. Her mother Rafaela Colon. Her grandchildren Ciera, Briana, Jeremy, Marc, Angel, Victor, Brandon, Prince, Kayla, Jorge, Richard and Kristen. Her great grandchildren Christopher, Elijah and Liana.
