Gloria, although I called her mom because she was just that special to me. I didn't know her very long but I feel like she came into my life at the right time. God gave me the pleasure of knowing her, if even it was to put a SMILE on her face. I connected with her from the moment we met, she was just that type of person that anyone who knew her would enjoy her. She was truly a delightful person. However they always say tough times can bring you closer or draw you apart. Well mom and I grew close during her hospital stay. I visited her as often as I could just because I wanted to keep her thoughts positive and uplift her spirits. She loved my SMILE and I loved what she had to say to me that made me smile for her. She had such a gift for being compassionate and kind-hearted and I know she is with the angels above. She will always be with us because when we see her children we will see Gloria. I love you Gloria and you will never be forgotten.

"Mamacita" Gloria was truly an amazing person! Her daughter Claudia is one of my closest and dearest friends. I will always remember Gloria laughing and joking no matter how sick or scared she may have felt. Claudia and I were planning our Cath Lab Holiday Party with Gloria in her hospital room and even when she had on the mask to help her breath, she would still laugh and enjoy hearing us plan and joke! The love she had for people just flowed from her. And especially when Demetri entered her hospital room, the love and connection they shared was amazing to watch. Demetri kissed her head, and I will never forget that touching moment! I felt close to her even though I didn't get the chance to spend a lot of time with her. I know how much love Claudia and Lucretia and her whole family have for her and that is because she was really an amazing, loving, funny, kindhearted and beautiful woman! Truly angel on earth that is now in heaven ! Rest in Peace Mamacita Gloria, you will be so so missed!!!

Although I would have loved to spend more time with Claudia's mother because of the stories my mother has shared with me about her are truly uplifting and sweet. She seemed like a truly amazing and caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with her and Claudia.

She was really my best friend, I think we adopted each other, I always said to her (like excuse to force her to go out) I need moral support and later she show to my home and said, what you need mamacita, and I said, just that you seat her with me and ate and talk for the rest of the day. I always wake her up with a call, and because she have a recording from the phone with a men voice, I always said to her, tell that men to leave you alone and call me back, some times I have to call several times and she don't answer the phone, when she finally wake up she call me and said, "reporting that I am OK" I love her she always have a good sense of humor. She will be really miss at my home.
