Gloria Dorothy Troxell

Troxell, Gloria D., On December 18, 2021 Gloria Troxell was called home to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. Gloria was born on August 1, 1931 in Cambria County, Read Township, PA. Gloria married her next-door neighbor and the love of her life Fred, in 1949. Fred and Gloria moved to South Florida with their five children in 1957. Together they were dedicated charter members of Westgate Baptist Church and years later Broadview Church. Gloria was a faithful wife, loving mother, and grandmother; a true Proverbs 31 woman.  She enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband and always looked forward to their next adventure. Gloria had a special bond with her children, their spouses, and grandchildren.  Some of her fondest memories were made with her family at “Gram and Poppy’s” for Christmas Eve. She enjoyed her many trips back home to Pennsylvania and loved making pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. Gloria lived a rich and fulfilled life, and while we rejoice that she is in Heaven we will miss her sweet smile. Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband Fred and her children Nancy and Jack. Gloria is survived by her children Fred Jr, Bill (Suzi), Jeff (Christin), and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation and Memorial Service for Gloria will be Wednesday 12/29/21 at Fred Hunter in Davie, FL starting at 5pm.  She will be laid to rest with Fred the following day at South Florida National Cemetery.
