Gregory L. Harris

Gregory was born to Lelia Mae Harris and Sterling Harris on August 25, 1968.  He went to Moore Academy.  He married Juanita Hall on  January 6, 1988.  Gregory worked as a heavy equipment operator for Miami Dade County for 31 years. He received an achievement award in recognition of  his 30 years of service at Miami Dade County.

Gregory Lamar Harris is preceded in death by  Lelia Mae Harris, Costella Harris, Cassie Mae Hall.

Greory is survived by his fiancée Jessie Derosier, Children: Raquel Harris(Derrick Posey), Tiffany Harris, Lamarcus C. Harris and Mariann Johnson. Brother: Zebbie Hale, Loving sister: Annese Robbins. Parent: Sterling (Liza) Harris, Grandchildren: Jaylen Elliott, Kaleiyah Elliott, Derrius Posey, Mariah Posey,  uncles: Willie Hale, Isaac Hale, Watt (Hattie Mae) Harris, Willie Frank Harris, Aunts: Mae Bessie (Nivory) Gordon, Annie (Elijah) Jackson, Dannie Mae Roberts, Willie Lee Safford and Dorothy Simpson, Special niece: Jasmine Harris, Special Nephews: Chris, Justin, Darryl, Octavis and Randy, special cousin: Demetri (Scottie) Mahone, special mother in love: Ms. Jacquelin Derosier and many other relatives and friends.  

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday July 21, 2020 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home with the Pastor Moses Moorer officiating.
