

Guy Jean Pierre Lalime, beloved brother and son, was reunited with his father and mother on Friday, December 9, 2016..
Guy was born in Quebec, Canada, on May 8, 1948. He and his family moved to South Florida in 1959, where he continued his education, graduating in 1966 from McArthur High School in Hollywood, Fla. Guy remained deeply rooted in South Florida for the remainder of his life.
Guy enjoyed a rich social life and was well regarded by many. His joys included playing softball, motorcycle riding, snow skiing, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed a long career as a lineman with Southern Bell Telephone Company , retiring at the age of 62 after more than 40 years of service with the company.
He will be remembered as a loving son, loyal brother, a terrific uncle, and a true friend to all who were fortunate to be in his wide and always growing circle of acquaintances. Guy was always ready and happy to be of help to anyone who was in need, often going well beyond what was asked of him.
Guy was preceded in death by his father Jean Pierre and mother Marcienne Rose. He is survived by his three sisters, Sylvie, Marie, and Annette, his two brothers, Bernard and Yves, and seven nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are welcome to attend a memorial service for Guy on January 15, 2016, at 4:00 P.M. Fred Hunters University Drive Funeral Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie, Florida. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 3:00 ~ 4:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
