Gwendolyn (Gwen) Williams Pennington Pullias.

91 of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on March 23rd, 2022, in her home surrounded by family.

Gwen was born in Johnston County, North Carolina to Ollie and Bessie Richardson Williams on February 1st, 1931. She graduated from Grantham school in 1950. Gwen married David Edward Pennington in NC on Dec 29th 1950 - 08/19/1994 and married Dr George Pullias in Hallandale FL. on 06/09 2002 - 03/21/2012.

Gwen, a farm girl, the oldest of nine children and her learnings became a nurturer of others. She worked at the clothing factory in Goldsboro, NC, at the age of 20 also worked at GE. After moving to Florida, she worked at amphenol electronics. And Motorola as a supervising technician for 18 years in Sunrise Fla.

Gwen was a member of the Church of Christ for over 50 years, where she proudly served as a Sunday school teacher. Where she wore out two Bibles from studying and teaching . She cared and nurtured for orphaned animals with the remembrance of the woodlands she grew up in. After retirement, she was a volunteer at the local elderly home.

Gwen was a role model through her journey of life. She left her fingerprints on the hearts of all those that knew her. Those that knew her, knew her light & her Heart. A true trooper in the name of the Lord.

She was preceeded in death by parents Ollie and Bessie Richardson Williams, siblings Buster, Shelton, Carlton, Frances, Dorothy, David E Pennington and Dr George Pullias. Let us not forget those forgotten Souls that lead to Noah himself. That brought us to where we are today.

Gwen is survived by her siblings Hilda Williams Summerlin of Newton Grove, NC, Clayton Williams, of Dudley, NC, Kathy, and Greg Allen, Wilson, of wilsos NC. Children, Laura P Bibby of Hollywood, Fla, Edward D Pennington of Hollywood, Fla Frances Pennington Hollywood, Fla David A Pennington Mims, Fla. Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Her last words at every parting was Never Say Goodbye, for we never know what tomorrow might bring. So until we meet again, so long for now.

Services will be held at Hollywood Hills Church of Christ  located at 5601 Grant Street, Hollywood, Fla. 33021. At 4.00 pm Saturday, April 16th
