Harry Thezan

Harry Thezan was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to Dieudonne L. Thezan and Marie Fernande F. Thezan on September 16, 1956.  He was the one of seven siblings.  In 1974, Harry Thezan graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York.   Harry Thezan was married to Geissie Marcel, the mother of his children Harry-Philippe Thezan and Darah Cotton.  He then had Matthew Hudson son of Rose Hudson.  He began his career as a Banking Associate at Chase Manhattan Bank.  He continued his professional career as a Casual Letter Carrier at the United States Postal Service.   Furthermore, he dedicated 18 years of his life as an Administrative Services Assistant at Tropical Financial Credit Union, where his co-workers were nothing less then family. Harry’s favorite hobbies aside from lending a hand to others, was being a mechanic.  Upon his middle-age Harry is a grandiose grandfather, who cherishes all five of his grandchildren.  Throughout his later journey, Harry met his beloved fiancée Linda Thomas.

Grandfather to Donovan, Gavin & Olivia Thezan (daughter of Christine Laird) and Ayannah & King Cotton.

Step-father to Lisa Andre, Richard Boutin, Julian & Kimberly Thomas and Ashley & Anthony Days.

Step-Grandfather to Brian Sanon, Jaleel Boutin, Jada Thomas, Destiny Days, Jordyn Thomas and John Michael Thomas.

Uncle to Carmel M.C. & Eric Dorce, Jr., Alexandra, Handyna, Bianca & Nathalie Thezan, Noldy & Elizabeth Faustin & their spouses & children.

To all family:  Thezan, Faustin, Montes, Louis, Cherubin, Prevost, Vidor, Jean, Austin, Boutin (Eugene) and others afflicted by this unfortunate loss.

Funeral services will be held at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church located at 8005 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, FL 33025 on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at (Fred Hunter Hollywood Memorial Garden North.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
