Hazel Mae Potopsingh

Hazel was born in Maroon Town, St. James, Jamaica to Herman Young and Fu Lien Young on February 6, 1943. She went to school at Convent of Mercy Academy (Alpha) in Kingston, Jamaica. She was married on June 28,1986 to Stanley George Potopsingh (deceased) in Markham, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from Seneca College in Toronto. Hazel worked as an Accountant and Payroll Specialist at various companies in Canada and Florida for a number of years. During her career, she received many certificates and achievement awards for outstanding performance. She enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, cooking, floral arrangements and arts & crafts. She was a devout Christian with a loving and kind heart and will be forever loved and missed. The Good Lord called you home dearest Hazel, rest in eternal peace.

Hazel is survived by her four siblings - Jerry Young (Courtney, Cheryl, Wayne, Chris, Craig, Kirk, Shelly), Jeffrey Young (Terrence and Tiffany), Sworney Chin (Juliana and Eddie Jr.) and Robert Young. Also, several grandnieces, grandnephews and in-laws.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held (time of gathering) (day of gathering) (date of gathering) at (place of gathering). Arrangements are by (name of funeral home).
