Helen Seidel was born in South Paris, Maine to Dorothy Everett and Pearley Everett on March 31, 1936. She is preceded by her brother Stanley Everett, her first husband Warren Tibbetts, her second husband Frank Seidel, and her third husband Ralph Slavin. When she moved to Florida, she went to college at Sheridan Tech to complete her nursing degree. She worked as a nurse for over 20 years at Broward General.
Before she moved to her current state of Florida, she was involved in foster care for a number of years working with 25 babies from newborn to two years old. She was also a Military Veteran in the Army. She traveled around the world seeing many places, her favorite was Thailand. She had a heart for giving and helping others which she did for most of her life. She was the heart of her family and left a lasting impact on anyone who was blessed enough to know her. She was a source of warmth, generosity, and love. She will be deeply missed. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and GG. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and that is what she would want everyone to remember. “Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day.”
