Henry E. Sapp

Visitation will be held at 5:00PM - 9:00PM on February 1, 2019 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Services. The funeral will be held at 11:00AM on February 2, 2019 at 951 NW 136th Street, Miami, Fl. 33168. Pastor Dave Chase of the Northwest Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Fred Hunter Cemetery at 1:30PM on February2, 2019.

Henry was born in Millen, GA on October 3, 1949. Henry graduated from Burgess Landrum High School class of 1967, following high school he joined the United States Airforce where he served for four years.

Henry was married to Martha Jean Sapp on June 28, 1980. They were married 38 years.

Henry worked at Northwest Baptist Ministries as the Facilities Director and an athletic coach for the last 15 years. He enjoyed his family, sports and spending time traveling with his wife Martha. He was actively involved in his church where he served as a Deacon for many years.

Henry is survived by his wife Martha Jean Sapp; children Deirdre Hines, Jennifer Hudson (Emory), Jonathan Sapp (Charlene), Priscilla Sapp, Monica Sapp; grandchildren Joshua Hudson, Jace Hudson, Willow Davis, Journee Hudson, Austyn Sapp, Aubrey Sapp; one aunt Marie Thompson; three sisters, one brother; In laws in North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and dear friends.

Henry is preceded in death by his father Eddie Hart, mother Martha Lee Sapp; his brother Ernest Sapp, and sister Virginia Richards.
