Herb was born in New York to Irwin and Faye Abrams on March 9th, 1934. The family later moved to Florida where he graduated from Miami Beach Technical High School. Herb served 9 years in the Army. He founded Herb’s TV and later became a vocational high school teacher where he taught TV and PC Repair, and then later Television Production. After retirement Herb pursued his hobbies; photography, and the production of short films, for which he won multiple awards. His final work was his published autobiography, Life’s Many Curves,
Herb’s greatest role was that of father. There was no sacrifice too large to make, guiding his children to independence and adulthood. He faced the challenges of raising 4 children with courage and humor, passing on a strong work ethic and a lifelong passion for personal growth.
Herb is survived by his loving wife, Eva Ezrovics, children; David, Richard and Lisa Acosta, grandchildren; Deanna, Donovan, Adam, Ryan, Jessica, and Alex, and great grandchildren; Finley, Ramsay, Sterling, Reagan, Nova, Shelby and Drake.
He was a good man and we loved him very much.
