Howard Vogel, 96, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Gloria Vogel and grandson, Kenneth Kent. Howard lived a full meaningful life which began in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Among his many achievements: service in the US Coast Guard during World War II, the Knights of Columbus, VFW Post 9697, and active member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. He was employed as a Senior Pressman for the “Sun Sentinel” along with other prominent newspaper. During leisure times he greatly enjoyed gardening, dancing, and extensive travel. Howard will be greatly missed by his 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, 11 am at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Ave, Davie, FL 33325 with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
