Indra was born in Trinidad & Tobago to Swkayde and Ramnarine Lackhai on February 20th, 1948. She went to school at Vocational School in Arouca. She married Francis D McMullan on July 3rd, 1993, in Brooklyn, New York. She worked as a caregiver working independently for many years.
Indra is survived by her husband Francis McMullan and her children Robin, Ashranie and Debbie. Along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Indra was a lover of life and once enjoyed traveling all over the world. She loved cooking, one of her greatest pleasures was cooking for others. Anyone who visited her home would never dare say “they left hungry”.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on August 8th at her residence shortly after service. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
