Sorry for your loss, may you find peace in the promises in the Bible, and the comfort that someday we can see our loved ones again. God promise in Revelation 21:4: that "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Acts 24:15 assures us: "There is going to be a resurrection", what that mean is that we can find comfort in God's word in knowing that someday we can see our loved ones again. How wonderful to know that we need not fear death again, for God has promise in Isaiah 25:8 these comforting word, "He will swallow up death for ever, and certainly wipe the tears from all faces. My Dear Aunt Ines was a very special and beautiful person to all who knew her. I feel truly blessed that she shared her life with me. She always thought of others before herself. It was never about her, but rather how were You doing she would always say to me. She had a forgiving heart no matter what hurt or pain she might have experienced in her lifetime, she always found a place in her heart to forgive. That was HER special gift. She was extremely thoughtful toward others. Always wanting to give to those who were less fortunate than she. She had a special feeling for people who were in need and throughout her life she continued to be generous to others not only gifting them but giving of herself and her time as we well. When Aunt Ines loved you, although she might not speak it with words, she showed you with her actions and you just knew and felt the depth of the love she had for you. My most personal special memory with her was in her beloved Lenola, Italy, where our family comes from. Ines adored Italian opera and we sat near the Basilica Santuario Santa Maria Del Colle at the top of the hill under the moonlight and stars one evening for an Italian Opera Performance. Fireworks went off in the sky. I'd never seen my aunt so ecstatic and overwhelmed with joy and emotion. I will remember that night forever. She was blessed with a good life and surrounded by so many family and friends both here and in Italy, who all loved her dearly, and most of all her beloved husband, my Uncle Aulo, whom she shared 61 years with. They were everything to each other, true soul mates, and in the end, the love they shared and the precious gift they were to each other was something most of us could only hope to find once in our lifetime. I know their holy spirits will be in love for eternity. She's in a better place now and at peace. I am grateful to God that I was able to spend these last two months with her. We will miss her so much more than words could ever express.

Though there was discord and distance, Aunt Ini remained in my heart. I will always remember her kindness and the times we spent in Italy together. I'm hoping she, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Alex and my Dad are together again and rejoicing.
