Irene Tommie was born in Miami, Florida on November 17, 1946 daughter of Sam and Mildred Tommie.
Irene worked for the Federal Government in the Forestry Office in Big Cypress for 20 years before retiring. Irene enjoyed putting together puzzles in her spare time.
She is survived by her beloved sons Kenny and Gabriel and beloved daughter Alexandra Tommie, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the First Seminole Baptist Church, 4701 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33314. Burial to follow at the New Seminole Cemetery.
