Isabel was born in Washington, Pennsylvania to her father, a coal miner and her mother, a homemaker. She and her family decided to move to Florida when an opportunity for a job transfer arose. Her son Mark, of beloved memory, enthusiastically suggested Fort Lauderdale after he had spent his spring breaks here. Leaving her siblings and extended family for a new endeavor, Isabel, her husband Leo and three children moved without hesitation. Isabel lived out the rest of her life in Fort Lauderdale and she passed peacefully in her sleep in her condo.
My mother, Isabel, or Izzy as many called her, was the most unselfish, giving, and amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her and will be dearly missed by her family and loving caretaker Donnah. My mother was the type of woman that gave the shirt off her back. She cared for her husband and children with all of her heart and soul. She nurtured us in such a beautiful way that my brothers and I are left with so many fun and quirky memories. She loved life, she loved to see people happy, laughing and enjoying their lives. She deeply loved her family. She also had a love for all types of animals.
We just celebrated her 92nd birthday and she lived a very full life. It was a blessing to have her with us as long as we did.
It gives us peace to know that she is in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know you will be watching down on us each day and we will always carry your memory in our hearts until we meet again. Now you have joined your parents, brother, sister, husband and son in Heaven. As you closed your eyes in this world, you made that angelic transport to eternal life.
Isabel was preceded in death by her loving husband Leo Lear, her beloved son Mark Lear and her brother Henry Jungo. She is survived by her three children LeAnn & her spouse Vincent Varbero; Patrick Shawn & his wife JoAnn Lear; Eric Leo Lear, her brother Paul & his wife Clementine Jungo, her granddaughter Rachel Ann, her husband Miki and her "Angel Face/Pumpkin Lips" Great grandson Novak Leo. As well as her grandson Michael, his wife April and their baby girl Madison.
