Jacques Clarke

Born on September 22, 1940, in Brussels, Belgium, Jacques' life was a testament to resilience from the very start. Orphaned during World War II, Jacques and his sister were adopted by separate American families and later reunited. From those difficult beginnings, Jacques built a life marked by hard work, humility, and generosity.

On May 18, 1963, Jacques married the love of his life, Monica. Together they shared 63 years of marriage, creating a life grounded in love, loyalty, and family.

Jacques had a way of turning strangers into friends and was always the first to lend a helping hand. Fluent in both English and French, he easily connected with people from all walks of life. Jacques found his greatest joy in time spent with his family. He loved hunting with his son, Christopher, fishing on the boat with Monica, spending time with his son, Jack, and sharing a glass of Jack Daniel's with family and friends.

Jacques was proud of the work he did throughout his life, spending much of his career printing sheet music alongside his uncle for renowned musical artists.

Jacques was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Monica; his parents, Juliette and François; and his sister, Liliane. Jacques is survived by his sons, Christopher (TinaMarie) and Jack (Lisa); his sister, Maïté; his granddaughters, Rachel and Kaitlyn; and his beloved furry companion, Murphy.

His legacy will continue in the family he loved.

A Simple Gathering will be held at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024, US, on July 30, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
