With heavy hearts we announce the death of James Albert Creech. James passed away on June 4, 2017 in Plantation, Florida at the age of 67. James was born on October 3, 1949 in Greensboro, NC. He was the oldest of 5 children. James' father passed away at a very young age and James assumed a father figure roll to help care for and raise his 4 siblings. James was a loving father to four children.
Those who had the pleasure to know James knew him as a humble, kind, and easy going person with a heart of gold who would stop at nothing to help others. Often James could be found at the airfield sharing his wisdom and passion of building and flying model airplanes. James was always willing to lend a helping hand no matter the cost. His unique sense of humor and layback antics were an inspiration to all that knew him and will be missed beyond words.
James is survived by his children; Dolly Pitre, James Creech, Jr., Dixie DeBonis and Minnie Cann; his sisters, Joyce Fulks, Janice Fulks and Billie Childress; his grandchildren, Kelly Pitre, Heather Pitre, Daisy Pitre, Autumn Creech, Gianna DeBonis, Kayla Cann, Hailee Cann, Adam Cann II, Noah Cann and Andrew Cann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Albert Creech and his brother, John Creech.
