James was born in Miami, Florida on June 8, 1956 and graduated from Carol City High School. James went on to join the Air Force where he was honorably discharged. James was a proud Journeyman Electrician for IBEW Local #349.
James is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jill Dean, his children Christopher Dean, Shanna Longa and their spouses Sophia Dean and Carlos Longa. He is also survived by his granddaughters; Abigail Longa, Eleanor Longa and Theadora Dean. His mother, Janet Dean, his sister Renee Larsen and brother-in-law Christopher Larsen and his nephew and niece Erik and Meagan Larsen. He is also survived by many in-law family. He loved his family very much. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
