James Earl Shipman - February 13, 1918- July 4th, 2011 Jim a Normandy survivor and decorated WWII Veteran serving under General Patton, Pioneer of Hollywood, and Free and Accepted Mason, died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 4th at the age of 93. Born in Double Springs, AL, Jimmy migrated to Hollywood as a young man where he would meet his beloved wife, of 64 years. Remembered as a proud solider, a charismatic and charming man and wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather. He is survived and will be deeply missed by wife, Eloise, children Diane and Wayne, grandson, Michael and loving extended family.
