James (Jimmy) Woody, 69 of Hollywood, Florida passed away on July 30, 2020 due to a long battle with congestive heart failure.The funeral service were held on August 4th 11 AM at Fred Hunters Memorial Hollywood. An intimate private service was held due to restrictions from Covid-19. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunters Memorial of Hollywood.Jim was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on January 23, 1951. He graduated from Morgantown High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor and Masters degree from West Virginia University.Jim worked as a professional photographer for Brentwood Digital for 34 years. He enjoyed traveling and good food. He was also actively involved in the community and always wanted to adopt from pet rescues.Jim is survived by Brent Mayhew, sister Mary, cousins Rosie, Betty, and Louie, niece Ashlee, her husband Brian and their two kids, the Mayhew family, and other family and friends.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to www.gofundme.com/f/jim- woody.
