Jane Greene Carroll

Jane Eva Greene Carroll, 73, of Hollywood, Florida passed away March 1, 2015, at Trustbridge Hospice at Memorial Hospital South. She was born May 22, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Jacob Emile and Nellie Katherine (McKee) Greene.

Jane lived in south Florida for 40 years where she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed making jewelry and attending beading classes.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Bruce Bird of Hollywood, FL; daughters, Cynthia Janelle Carroll of Slidell, LA; Donna Lynn Albers of Carriere, MS and Janelle Lee Bird of Hollywood, FL; step-son, Christopher Gerald Bird (Donna) of Deltona, FL; siblings, John Emile Greene of Folsom, LA and Doris Greene Roig of Ponce, PR; grandchildren, Wendy, Jacob, Jessie, Gina, Emanuel and Joshua; and great-grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Madelyn, Jordan and Basima.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Charlotte Ann Carroll; brother, Charles Robert Greene and sister, Betty Greene Lowe.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., with the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.
