Jane was above all else a Christian. She was a member of the Beit Tehila church in Brandon, Florida. Afaithful follower of Jesus Christ, she devoted herself to his teachings. God blessed Jane with manytalents including playing the piano, singing, and writing. She was an avid reader and biblical researcher. Her talents allowed her to write music. As well as become a published author.Jane enjoyed traveling. One of her favorite adventures was traveling to the Carolinas to ride in a gliderplane. She loved soaring above the clouds with only the sound of the wind. If there was ever a momentwhere she felt like a child again, it was then.Traveling to Israel with friends was a joyful time (until she broke her ankle). Knowing she was steppingon holy ground, to walk where Jesus had walked was an unforgettable experience. Her dream wouldhave been to live out the rest of her life there. She never got to obtain that dream, but we can rejoice knowing she is in God’s kingdom and glory.
She is survived by her children; Amos Owens and Cerena Owens, her brother and sister; David Owens (Shirley) and Charlotte Gunther (Ross), her grandchildren; Robert Melvin (Jessica) and Daniel Melvin, and her great-grandchildren; Levy Melvin, Samuel Melvin, Joshua Melvin, Julianna Melvin, and Ezra Melvin.
