Jeanine Augustin, born Jeanine Cadet of Hollywood, Florida, passed away at Memorial West Hospital on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 surrounded by her son Ronald Tertulien and his wife, Denise Tertulien. She was formerly of Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Queens, New York. She later moved to Florida 24 years ago, in 1991.
She is survived by her beloved older brother, Gerard Cadet, 88 years old, her son, daughter-in-law, daughter Georgette, three grandchildren, one great-grandson, countless nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Jeanine impacted so many in her life that she will be impossible to forget. She was generous, compassionate, loving, kind and had a genuine spirit. She lived a simple life, enjoyed the small things and knew the importance of family and friends. Her memory will carry on through everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation, Friday, November 27th from 5:00 ~ 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. There will be a second viewing on Saturday, November 28th from 9:00 ~ 10:00 A.M. at the Florida Bible Church, 9300 Pembroke Road in Miramar with a Celebration of Her Life to begin at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Garden Cemetery (across from the funeral home)
