Jeannine Claudette (Doyon) Buckley of Dania Beach, FL, sadly passed away on April 15, 2023 at the age of 82. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She was well loved by her family and friends. Jeannine was born in Lewiston, ME on April 10, 1941 to Leo and Simone (Rouleau) Doyon. She worked as a manager in the foreign exchange department of Shawmut Bank in Boston, MA. She was also actively involved in the VFW of Brockton, MA as Vice President of the Women's Auxillary. She loved reading, baking, swimming, sewing, crossword puzzles, and arm chair shopping. Life will go on but will surely be difficult without our beloved mother.
She is survived by her son, Johnny (Raul) and daughter, Laurie (Carlos), and grandchildren Carlos and Savannah, brother-in-law Henry Cichon, sister in law Claudette Bell, several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, brother Leo Doyon, sister Gizele Jordan, Sister Patricia Cichon, ex husband John Buckley, son James Dean, and long time companion Joao C. Monteiro.
Relatives and family are welcome to join the family on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 5-8 pm at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood, FL 33024. funeral will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Fred Hunter's, commencing at 9:30 am.
