Jemita was married to Michael Angelo Clarke on May 30th, 1986; they were married for 35 years.
Jemita worked as a transcriber and EKG technician for Jackson North Health System and Palmetto General Hospital for 34 years. She also worked as a CNA for VITAS Healthcare Corporation and subsidiaries since 2002.
She enjoyed dancing, cooking, traveling and entertaining family and friends. She also participated in the Miami Carnival with her friends and family.
Jemita is survived by her spouse Michael Angelo Clarke, her older sister Magelita Knowles, children Patricia Evans, Patrick Evans, Andrew Evans, Anita Evans, Andrea Evans and Venise Gordon Montague and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and other family and friends.
