Jennifer Atkinson

She was born Jennifer Perkins in Barbados to Vivian Perkins and Arthur Alleyne on March 17, 1950.  She married Gerard Atkinson on September 26, 1982 in Milton, MA. In May 1974 she graduated from The Rotherham School of Nursing as a Midwife. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at The Star of David for many years. She was dedicated to serving at her church, Fort Lauderdale Seventh Day Adventist, as a Deaconess. She previously sung in the choir, participated in communion service, and the international social, to name of few.   

Jennifer is preceded in death by her mother Vivian, her father Arthur, and her brother Lionel Perkins.   

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband Gerard of Sunrise, her sons Joel Atkinson of Boynton Beach and Andrew Atkinson of Davie, her brothers Arthur of England, Earl of Barbados, and her sister Cathy of Boston. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held immediately following the service at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home, until 9pm.
