Jo Anne Patricia Donohue was born in New York on September 10, 1950 to Robert & Marie Murphy of New York. Jo Anne attended St. Bernard’s Grammar School, Cathedral High School, and Clairmont Secretarial School in Manhattan.
Jo Anne spent every summer with her family in Far Rockaway at their bungalow-where she loved to go to the beach, swim & suntan.She had a creative side to her and a green thumb to grow anything without even trying! She had a personality that could make anyone laugh and a smile that would light up a room.
Jo Anne loved to travel during the summer with her family and friends. She started her career in 1986 for Delta Airlines, working at Ft. Lauderdale and Miami International airports.
She leaves behind her children Patty Ann Kirkham, Kenneth Donohue, and James Donohue, her sisters Kathleen Trudnak & Christine Reigadas, and brother Patrick Murphy as well as her granddaughters Kayla Kirkham, Courtney Kirkham, grandson KJ Donohue and great-grandchildren Brylie Kirkham and Luke Decre.
