Florio, Joan born May 12, 1936, passed into the arms of the Lord on March 25, 2011. Joan will be remembered for her lifetime of strength, courage, and determination, and her will to face health issues and remain with family during the latter years of her life. She is the beloved wife of Steve Florio, her best friend and husband of 54 years. She is also survived by their three daughters, Anna Cutts, Stefanie Rorabaugh, and Dina Hyde, their grandchildren, Toni Johnson, Steven and Cassie Cutts, David and Felicia Hyde, and Amanda Rorabaugh, and their three great-grandchildren. Viewing is Monday, March 28, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Hardage-Giddens, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida. A mass is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, St. Johns, Florida. A viewing is also scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida. Interment 10:00 AM Thursday, March 31, Hollywood Memorial Gardens, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida.
