Joan was born on October 31, 1934 to Howard and Ester Hinchie in Queens New York . She married Kenneth Harris Sr. in 1953 and together raised four sons. They eventually moved to Florida in 1966 and remained married for 51 years until Kenneth’s passing in 2004. She had a very full and active life. She enjoyed live theater and going to the movies, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Her love for show business was a product of her fathers career as a theater technician which eventually was passed down to her children and grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and was very active in the Lutheran church. She touched many lives and was loved by all. She is survived by her brother Howard “Skip” Hinchie, her four sons Kenneth Jr., Kevin, James and Brian. 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren . She will be sorely missed by all.
